Getting to School
In order to maintain the high quality of life on campus and meet our traffic reduction commitments to our neighbors and Fairfax County, we require all students in Grades 1 through 11 to take the bus to and from school. Students in Grade 11 who drive are provided off-campus parking and a shuttle to school. Additionally, parents may drive their kindergarten students to Potomac, and students in Grade 12 may drive themselves and their siblings. All other students must take either our neighborhood or shuttle bus service.
We also offer parents the opportunity to track their child's bus location in real time through a GPS Automatic Vehicle Locator system. This service is available through the Parent Portal of our password-protected CampusNET site.

We offer over 23 different bus routes, as well as a modified late neighborhood bus service at 5:45 pm for students participating in after-school sports and other activities, and a shuttle service that runs until 7:30 pm.
