In this course, students will use literature to examine some of the key social injustices of our time: racial profiling, police brutality, drug addiction, poverty, failing immigration policies, and violence against the LGBTQ community. Using the authors we read as models for addressing injustice, students will write and produce an original podcast examining a social justice issue in their own community.
