Student Recognized for Writing

The Scholastic Art and Writing Awards program identifies students with exceptional artistic and literary talent and presents their remarkable work. The program gives students opportunities for recognition, exhibition, publication, and scholarships. Potomac freshman Aliyah Majeed-Hall’s flash fiction piece, "Perihelion Pieces” was awarded a Silver Key, which means her writing placed in the top 18 percent in the competition.
