Speech and Debate Stays Strong in 2024

The Potomac speech and debate team continues its winning ways with a recent third-place team finish at the Cavalier Classic in Durham, NC, this past weekend. While the team had no individual champions, three runner-up performances paced the overall effort: Graeme Evans '24 in humorous interpretation, Hannah de Souza '25 in oral interpretation, and Meredith Vorndran '25 in extemp speaking. A highlight of the trip was a solid final-round performance from congressional debaters Adrian Atwater '24, Alex Bauer '25, Ethan Maher '25, and Sebastian Gardner '25.
