Seniors and College Counselors Kick Off a New Year

College Counseling began the school year by greeting seniors on Tuesday morning for their annual meet-up. This year's class has a good head start already in the college application process. This summer, students had several opportunities to engage in essay workshops and continued essay and application work. The college counselors updated students on the college application process and explained the steps on how to use the Common Application in conjunction with Scoir. The counselors also discussed the Statement of Understanding and explained expectations for early decision applicants. Students also had an opportunity to speak with their individual college counselor.
