Monday’s Lunchtime Conversation featured a triple treat: a family of three photographers. Jamey Stillings, Esha Chiocchio, and their son, Zubin Stillings. Each showed samples of their work and shared their respective career journeys.
Jamey Stillings began as a documentary photographer and evolved into a high-end advertising photographer who makes time for personal projects that focus on aerial photography of renewable energy solutions. He has exhibited this work widely and published three photo books, with a fourth on the way.
With a master’s degree in sustainable communities, Esha Chiocchio is a documentary photographer with a focus on environmental conservation and traditional wisdom. She shoots around the world for clients. She shared that her first assignment was with National Geographic (very rare when a photographer is just starting out!) She passed on some helpful shooting tips to attendees.
Zubin Stillings is currently on a gap year after high school and spending lots of time experimenting with different subject matter for his photography. He likes to use his friends as models and play with different photographic approaches.
