Dear IS Parents,
On Thursday, December 8, Potomac’s Music Department will present the Intermediate School Winter Concert. The students and music teachers are excited to share what they have been working on, and this letter contains details regarding the performance.
To accommodate performers and guests from each family, the event will be held in the Spangler Center for Athletics and Community. The show will run from 7:00 to 8:30 pm. All IS students are expected to stay for the entire concert to support their peers.
There is ample seating for all who wish to attend, and students are encouraged to invite family and friends to this event. In addition, the concert will be livestreamed so that those who cannot attend in person can enjoy the show via this link.
There will be no athletic contests on December 8, providing time for students to head home immediately after school before returning to campus for the concert. If it is a hardship for your child to go home and then turn around and return to Potomac, please let us know via SchoolPass and an email to Joleen Hyde by Monday, December 5.
On the night of the performance, chorus students should report to the IS Choral Room at 6:00 pm, and band, bells, and strings students should report to the Spangler Center, also at 6:00 pm. All IS students should wear their ensemble polo, uniform bottoms, and dark shoes
Our students are looking forward to the opportunity to perform for the Potomac community. This concert is a wonderful opportunity to celebrate our students' talent and showcase their hard work, and we hope that you will join us.
