First Assembly Celebrates Friendship

Last week, we celebrated the theme of friendship at our first Middle School assembly of this academic year. Students and parents enjoyed poetry readings, songs from science class, and some tunes from the sixth grade chorus. As in past years, the whole division sang the traditional song Make New Friends (But Keep the Old). The assembly ended with a treat – a group of sixth graders singing You Don't Know You're Beautiful, by One Direction.
